Draft, pending California attorney review
WestSide Sports Club collects information about parents and their children to run our programs. Because we serve minors, protecting this data is central to how the platform is built. This working draft will be finalized with California counsel and will address:
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Children do not create their own accounts. A parent creates the family, provides the child's information, and controls a player code the child uses to view their own reports and cards. Verifiable parental consent is required before any child data is stored.
California rights (CCPA/CPRA, CalOPPA)
California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. Minors have the right to have their content removed (California's "eraser" law).
What we collect
Account details, the intake questionnaire (including medical and emergency information), enrollment and payment records via Stripe, and, with consent, practice photos and video.
Deletion
Parents can request full deletion of their family's data from the parent dashboard or by contacting us.
